The Whicker blog's a changing... We are now Whicked! It was much too catchy an idea not to implement! Thanks Sara for the idea- we loved it! I will work on more posts more often. I am shooting for weekly, or more. Hold me to it folks! Lots of love.

Nine Months!

Mason is NINE MONTHS old! I am totally serious, in three short months, my son will be one year old. Which makes me feel incredibly old! Time flies with my sweet boy. At nine months Mason loves: The Wiggles, Little Einsteins, crawling everywhere, pulling up on the tv stand, giggling when mom and dad tell him not to, playing with his baby play kitchen, stacking his rings on and off the stand, and the bath. Those are probably his all time favorite things. Oh, and DADADADA. Mason is a daddy's boy :) I took him to the doctor today, here are my handsome man's stats!

Height: 28 1/2 inches- 50%

Weight: 18 lbs, 10 oz- 25%

Head: I don't remember the measurement, but it's still in the 90%

He is still my skinnish, average height, big headed boy! And I love him that way! Dr. Havey says he is growing well- which is exactly what this mama wants to hear! As always, and my favorite part, here are the nine month pictures of my favorite little guy!

DADADADA (as Mason calls him) decided the boy needed to swim in the backyard. What to do when your out of swim diapers? Skinny dip of course. He LOVED it. The swimming, not necessarily the being naked part :)

This little beauty is a Christmas present. Nate was told to hide it away, which didn't last long. Because he decided Mason needed to "try" it out. Needless to say from the grin on his face, I think we will get lots of play time with Mr. Zebra.

Poor bug, caught a little bit of a cold at the end of August. We busted out the nebulizer. He didn't really mind. He would happily sit this way, as long as he could play with the cord. HE LOVES CORDS. Mommy does not appreciate that love quite as much.

This is Mason's living room cage. And this is him staring at the television, literally looking around me, because the Wiggles were on. They are way cooler than Mom.

Here is one of his BabySteals pictures. Janet, our photographer says she likes to photograph him, because he "exudes joy". What Mom doesn't want to hear that?! He was a total grump yesterday, but somehow she got some super cute shots of him :)

Ah, another toy that was meant for Christmas. I have been a KSL.com fiend, looking for fun things I think he would like to play with in the coming months. He LOVES to be busy. This turned out to be much too big for him :) He liked crawling on top of it- he liked falling off of it much less.

That's all for now all! The Whickers are here, doing extremely well, and loving every minute of life! (Even as I type this Mason is ripping every DVD we own off the bookshelf! Time to go!)

Do you LOVE to Steal?!

Okay, not the illegal kind! BabySteals of course! I was addicted, and then I was lucky enough to get a job at the most amazing company on the planet. And believe me, it truly is just as fabulous as you would think!! Mason was featured on the site today, (advertising THE CUTEST Robeez socks ever!!) which totally made my YEAR! My little ham, grinning on the page- so fun! If you are addicted to stealing, like me, add our button to your blog too! They are brand new, and pretty darn cute!

Oh, and PS- Mason has his 9 month checkup next week! Where has the time gone?! My baby crawls, tries to stand up on his own, giggles, jabbers, follows you around the house... Kids grow up too fast! Look for more pictures and updates soon!

Mason's 8 MONTHS!

Mason is EIGHT months old! Where has the time gone? Time with kids just goes way too fast. My little man is growing like a weed, and is into ABSOLUTELY everything! He is a crawling critter, loves to stand all on his own, jabbers up a storm, and the Wiggles make him (and Mom!) very happy. Nate blessed him on his 8 month "birthday" last Sunday. It was very special, and full of love. Thanks to everyone who came out to support him, and everyone who had him in their thoughts! I have been a truly horrible, no good, very bad blogger. I AM SORRY! It turns out working 40 hours a week, being a full time mama, and "trying" to keep a clean house makes for a busy schedule!! Here is my attempt to catch up! Pictures, pictures galore! 4th of July in Filmore, play time at the cabin with the cousins, and some randoms around the house :) Enjoy!!

Here is a picture of Mason then. On Christmas Morning, about a week old....

Here is Mason now! 8 months old, Mohawk and all! He is a smile machine, and a ball of energy! We sure love having him around! I am not sure what we did with all our time before he lived here too!

Collin, Bree, and Mason. In the super cute bear hats Aunt Ranell made.

My kid is 100% ham. His facial expressions always crack me up.

This would be the first time I found him standing up without help.

We took him to Target in July for some quick pics. I thought it would be cheap, and fast. Oh, the fast part was spot on. Cheap it was not. Why did my son have to look SO CUTE in EVERY picture?

This is the FABULOUS Kristi G chair we got off my beloved BabySteals. It lets him sit up like a big boy, and eat his yogurt treats. So fun.

The 4th of July, so fun. These would be the Babylegs I decided Mason HAD to have a few days before. So they were rushed here, and arrived just in time. See, I told ya he's a ham.

We spent the 3rd of July in Filmore. It was so fun. We took Mason to the parade. As you can see, he didn't mind one bit.

I got the lucky chance of having both boys in our hotel room when we stayed the night right outside Filmore. They are so sweet sleeping. I love this picture.
Mason, and cousin Capri at Great Grandma Whicker's house. I think she wants him out of her chair.

Another at Great Grandma's, with her in the picture too.

There's my ham.

Mason LOVES bath time. We can't bathe him in the sink anymore. He figured out the perfect way to kick his legs to maximize the amount of water he gets all over the floor. Now, he kicks in the big tub. Much more room to play.

6 Months!

THEN.. December 19th, 2009 (4 days old)

NOW... June 15th, 2010 (6 months old)

My baby, is not a little baby anymore. Mason is 6 months old, and time has FLOWN by! We took him to the pediatrician Tuesday, where, he of course had to flirt with all the ladies! By the time we left he had melted the hearts of a handful of women :) He cracks me up. Here were my favorite little boy's stats:

Height: 50th Percentile, 26 1/2 inches
Weight: 25th Percentile, 16lb 3oz
Head: 75th Percentile

The good news? He is starting to finally grow into that massive noggin of his! And his flat head, no longer a worry. Woosh. That makes mama a happy girl! I did not want the poor bug playing all summer in a hot helmet! The pediatrician also commented about how ticklish my boy is! Mason would just giggle while he was being checked. It was precious! Mason has been such a light in our lives, and brings so much joy everywhere he goes. This summer is going to be so much fun! Having children brings a whole new element of excitement to life! As always, here are the pictures!

Graduations

My sister Kallyn, and Nate's sister Makenzie both graduated from high school the first week of June. (All the fun pictures of Mason are at Kallyn's graduation. Mason provided entertainment during the downtime) We are so proud of them both! (And I must say, I am EXTREMLEY pleased to not have to attend another graduation for quite some time... they are B.O.R.I.N.G. I remember mine being so much more exciting... Probably because I was (okay, am) a self involved snot who thinks everything I am apart of is freakin' awesome!

Kallyn will be heading to Logan this fall to attend Utah State University, much to Mason's dismay and heartbreak. She wants to be a teacher. And I am here to tell ya, she will be a REALLY good one! She has patience up the wazoo, and is always nice... Kiddos love her.

BUT, luckily, Mason will not be too lonely, Kenzie will keep going to Weber State, where she has been going all throughout her senior year. (Wish I could have been so smart!) So Mason will still have someone to play with. She wants to be a nurse. She is so determined, and knows what she wants. She will be a fabulous nurse, all the boys will wait in line to be her patient :)

These girls are both incredibly smart, endlessly talented, and have bright futures ahead of them! Love ya both!

Bad Mama :(

Yes. The rumors are true. I am officially a bad mother. Memorial Day was so busy. Running here, running there, dragging Mason everywhere! We went to Brigham City to visit Great Great Grandpa Austin's grave, and spent some time enjoying the sunshine. We then made our way up to Logan, and visited some other family graves.... And we were apparently out in the sun WAY longer than I thought, because my poor baby got his first sunburn. His huge head must just attract those sunbeams like a beacon. His little cheeks are so toasty. Lesson learned- Time for this mama to invest in some safe baby sunscreen.

But, I mean honestly. My son had to wear his snuggly teddy bear suit outside a week ago so that he wouldn't FREEZE! And now the poor kid, a whole week later, got FRIED. I just can't keep up with all the weird weather! But poor Mason paid the price this time :( Thanks alot Global Warming!!

P.S.- Long days playing outside with my Daddy, Grandpa, Nana, Aunt Kallyn and all my other fun family people wears me out. I completely passed out in my mama's lap after bath time on Memorial Day. Can't you hear the snores ;)
